This abstract provides a concise overview of the study conducted on the Archetype of Sacrifice focusing on J.K. Rowlingʹs Harry Potter novels. Contrary to popular belief, the path of writing is not traveled alone. In fact, writers are walking on a path that has already been paved by others. These paths that help the author in writing the story are called ‘archetype’. If we want to explain how archetypes are related to stories, we must start by saying that throughout human history, there have been common moral codes among all people with different religions an‎d beliefs. These moral codes as Carl Gustav Jung points placed in unconscious mind. It takes place collectively an‎d is transmitted from one breast to another, throughout history. Accordingly, the study mainly focuses on nine indicators to see how they result in sacrifice, considering that the types an‎d levels of sacrifice are not the same. This paper also takes a look at the moral results of all kinds of sacrifices in the present an‎d future of human individual an‎d social life. These unconscious beliefs have always been human guide in distinguishing good from evil an‎d right from wrong, an‎d played a fundamental role in human moral decisions. Ever since Carl Jung proposed the term archetype, the sensitivity to the effect of fiction on the audience has increased an‎d countless researches have been conducted in this field.
