Abstract:
In this research, molecular absorption spectrophotometric methods were used to investigate and measure Al3+ and Ti4+ ions in kaolin. In this research, three anionic surfactants, SDS, cationic surfactant CTAB and oleic acid surfactant were used. For each surfactant, CMC was reported to measure Al3+ and Ti4+ ions, and optimizations such as the amount of surfactant, temperature and pH were carried out. Finally, statistical parameters such as correlation coefficient, accuracy and detection limit were calculated and reported.
In the measurement of Al3+ with surfactant SDS, CTAB and oleic acid, the optimum amount of absorbent was obtained as 0.05, 0.5 g and 5 ml, respectively. Also, in the measurement of Ti4+ with SDS, CTAB and oleic acid surfactants, the optimal amount of absorbent was obtained as 0.5, 0.1 g and 25 ml, respectively. In checking the temperature with SDS surfactant, the optimal temperature of 35°C was obtained for both Al3+ and Ti4+ ions. Also, in the measurement of Al3+ and Ti4+ ions with CTAB surfactant, the optimal temperature values were obtained as 35°C and 40 °C, respectively. In the measurement of Al3+ and Ti4+ with oleic acid surfactant, the optimum temperature value was considered to be 35°C. Ti4+ ion in all three surfactants

at pH = 12, Al3+ ion in SDS and CTAB surfactants at pH = 2 and in oleic acid surfactant at pH = 12 showed the highest amount of absorption.
