Abstract This research examines the violations of women's civil and political rights in Iran's internal laws from the perspective of the 2022 report of the United Nations Human Rights Council. In this research, a descriptive-analytical method is used to reach the importance of conducting research and drawing conclusions. The equality of women with men, which is one of the intellectual foundations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Prohibition of Discrimination against Women, is different from the values of the Islamic religion. The United Nations has a long history of paying attention to women's human rights, and in recent decades, it has made great progress in securing women's rights around the world, the gaps It remains important and the truths of women's lives are always changing with the discovery of new discriminations against them that are regularly revealed.Despite all the efforts, due to some problems and obstacles, the status of women is still not based on the principles contained in the Constitution, and there is a long way to improve the status of women based on the progressive principles of the Constitution, which requires continuous efforts in this field and is necessary. Efforts in this field should continue. Iran has a unique point of view on the interpretation and contradiction of the principles of human rights with its native, national and religious culture, and since based on the theory of cultural relativism, the rules of human rights are based on the cultural conflicts of nations. It can be interpreted, these cultural conflicts prevent the universality of human rights rules.The issue of human rights and women's rights is a big challenge in the third world countries and especially in Iran. Although the Islamic Republic of Iran has joined the cited international documents, it has become a murderer for its own right to protection, and even though some women's rights which is human rights, no distinction can be seen, but in some hypothetical rights such as the right to judge and important political positions, there is a fundamental difference between the rights of women and men.
