This research was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of group schema therapy on rumination, stress level and attachment style in students. The research was applied in terms of purpose and semi-experimental in terms of method (pre-test, post-test with control group). The statistical population of this research included all students of Payam Noor University, South Tehran Branch in the first semester of 1402-1403 academic year, 40 people were selected from among the aforementioned statistical population by random sampling, and 20 people were in the control group and 20 people in the control group. was placed in the experimental group. Then, a pre-test was taken from the sample using rumination questionnaire, stress questionnaire and attachment style questionnaire. Then group schema therapy intervention was done on the experimental group. After that, the post-test was performed and the results were reviewed and analyzed. The results indicated that the significance level is significant for rumination variables, stress level and avoidant and ambivalent attachment styles, while it was not significant for secure attachment style. Avoidant and ambivalent attachment styles have a significant effect. Based on the fact that the mean of rumination, stress, and avoidant and ambivalent attachment styles among the experimental group decreased after the group schema therapy educational intervention compared to the control group.
