The main purpose of this study was to look at the recurrence of deforming tendencies on English interpretation of Divan of Hafez based on Berman's model. Additionally, the study set out to discover how words have been changed from the source language to fit the target language by receiving misshaping inclinations. To attain the points of study, the researcher depended on substance or record investigation as a subjective and quantitative sort of study to analyze the strategies which are utilized within the interpretation of Divan of Hafez from Persian to English and to appear measurable rates of all translation techniques frequencies. The information came from the investigation of the Divan of Hafez and 41 samples chosen by Ismail Salami. Overall analysis of the data revealed that the Rationalization, Expansion, Destruction of rhythms, Destruction of underlying networks of signification and Destruction of linguistic patterning were the most frequent deforming translation strategies. Moreover, the analysis of the data revealed that Quantitative impoverishment, Quantitative impoverishment and Destruction of vernacular networks or exoticization were the least frequent deformation tendencies. Findings of the present study revealed that syntactical deviations occurred in structure, punctuation, rhythms, etc. in the translation of poems, it was also revealed that meaning deviation occurred less in the translation of Divan of Hafez based on this model. In fact, it seems that Berman offers a model which is too severe on keeping the form and syntax of the source text in translation.
