چكيده
This investigation was designed to explore the relationship between intuitive-sensing personality types, general self-efficacy, and EFL elementary learners' willingness to write in online classes. In order to fulfill the purpose of the study, 70 EFL elementary learners were selected and were randomly assigned into an experimental group (online class) and a control group (traditional class). Then, the Mayers-Briggs Type Indicator Questionnaire was given to the both groups and after its administration, the experimental group was divided into an intuitive group and a sensing group. For the control group, the same procedure was used. During the instruction, the participants of the online class were provided with online instruction of the content of the course book of Touch stone 1 and the textbook of Paragraph Development through the social media of Soroch and the participants of the control group were taught traditionally. They were taught based on the traditional approaches of instruction and they did not receive any online instruction. Both classes received the same content with the same duration and period of time that lasted for 8 sessions. After completing the instruction, the participants of the online group and traditional group were required to complete the general self-efficacy and the willingness to write questionnaires. The obtained data were analyzed through the statistical method of Pearson correlation coefficient. The outcomes of the study showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between EFL elementary learners’ personality type, their general self-efficacy, and their willingness to write paragraph in both online and traditional language classes. The findings of the study have implications for EFL teachers, learners, and educational policy makers
