Abstract:
One of the methods of the Qur'an in expressing the teachings of the resurrection is "mentioning many names for the resurrection". More than a hundred names for resurrection are mentioned in the Holy Quran. Behind each of these names lies a meaning, a concept, and knowledge, and the Qur'an did not use these names simply for the sake of beauty in speech and eloquence. On the other hand, many literary industries stand out in these names. Irony, metaphor, allegory, simile, etc. are among these arts that add to the beauty of these names. Among these industries, "irony" should be mentioned. This industry has been used a lot in the names related to the Resurrection. Behind each of the Qur'anic names of Qayamat that this industry has used, there are beautiful meanings and teachings that are worth examining and analyzing. In this research, we follow up this important issue in a library method by examining exegetical and hadith sources and of course lexical sources. The results of the study indicate that the Qur'an mentions many names for the resurrection and among the prominent arts in the Qur'an is the art of "imaging". One of the most important manifestations of the Qur'an's image creation is the image creation in the Qur'anic names of Qiyamah. In some of these names, the Quran intends to express the content by using the art of image creation. Many events of Maad and Day of Hashr have been expressed for the audience in the form of visual arts. Image creation of the Quran has its own unique methods. The Qur'an uses various and different methods to create an image in the names of the Resurrection. The use of "simile", "simile", "metaphor" and "irony" is one of the important Quranic image-creating methods in the Quranic names of Qayamat. Among the most used industries in the Qur'an is the industry of "irony". Some of the names of Qayamat contain ironic meanings. Allusion to "fear and terror", allusion to "the greatness of the Day of Judgment", allusion to "the infidels regretting on the Day of Resurrection"... are among the allusive meanings expressed in the form of the names of the Day of Resurrection. Not paying attention to this beautiful rhetorical art in examining the names of Maad leads to wrong understandings of the concept and meaning of the verse
