Abstract The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of intellectual capital on reducing organizational conflicts (Case study: Kermanshah thermal power plant). The research method is applied and descriptive-survey in nature. The type of data is quantitative and the method of comparative research. The data were collected by field method and using a questionnaire tool, which includes the Bontis 1998 Intellectual Capital Questionnaires and the 2012 Sherkhani Organizational Conflict. The statistical population is the managers and employees of Kermanshah thermal power plant. Due to the dispersion and unavailability of the entire statistical population, random sampling has been simplified. The sample size is 203 people using the Cochranʹs formula. In this study, the mean and standard deviation for descriptive and linear regression findings were used using SPSS26 software. The findings showed that the dimensions of intellectual capital, including human, structural and communication, are effective in reducing organizational conflicts. The most influential dimension of intellectual capital with 60% was related to communication capital. The results showed that intellectual capital is effective in reducing organizational conflicts.
