چكيده
It is needless to say that language teachers should differentiate lessons to ensure that every student including ELLs are provided with the opportunity to acquire the academic content and skills related to the standards. Having this in mind, the present thesis explored the degree of language teaching knowledge TEFL graduates and undergraduates possess. Findings revealed that the both groups enjoy the same degree of teaching knowledge that was calculated through Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) developed by University of Cambridge: ESOL Examinations. Added to this was the low level of teaching knowledge (band score 3) that necessitates a rethink of TEFL university courses and teacher education programs to ensure acquisition of sufficient knowledge required to teaching language learners.
