This thesis carries out an analysis of the play Endgame by Samuel Beckett through Zen, Meditation and Mindfulness practices. It achieves this goal by exploring how the playwright’s existentialism that ends up in nihilism can find a way out through meditation practices and can create hope and self-glorification by Zen practices. This study argues that mere existentialism produces despair, anxiety and hopelessness.
